Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available working with elementary and middle school students in the Reading Area, Pennsylvania. This contract role begins immediately and extends through the end of the current school year. The ideal candidate will support a diverse caseload, primarily focusing on students in middle school, with opportunities to work with elementary students as well.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language impairments
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
  • Providing onsite therapy services during the regular school day

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary and middle school settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Onsite presence is preferred to ensure direct student interaction and collaboration
