Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students ranging from elementary through high school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each students unique needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups, to support student goals
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of assessments and intervention outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical knowledge to the multidisciplinary team
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to facilitate integrated support in the classroom
