Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Compassion, creativity, and adaptability working with diverse student needs from kindergarten through 12th grade

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Participate in the IEP process; provide evaluations, progress reports, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Develop engaging, evidence-based therapy activities suited for a school environment
  • Offer guidance, resources, and support to families regarding communication strategies
