Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Abbeville, SC, specifically serving a middle school environment. This contract position is set to begin on October 13 and will run through February 2026, with the possibility of extension. This role supports a caseload focused on elementary and PreK students and offers flexibility with onsite work, as well as openness to part-time virtual arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to middle school students.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in professional development and clinical mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings.
  • Ability to manage a caseload including elementary and PreK students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to engage in professional growth and clinical support.

Hours and Work Environment:

  • 35-40 hours per week.
