This full-time, onsite contract position is located near Williamsport, MD, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week (8:00 AM 3:30 PM). Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Educator Certification
• Minimum score of 75% on the EIPA written test
• Either an EIPA performance score of 4.0 or higher, or an active NIC from RID
• Previous experience in an educational environment preferred
• Strong commitment to facilitating student learning and engagement
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a school team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services for a high school male student in all educational settings
• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers to ensure full access to the curriculum and activities
• Adapt interpreting style to meet individual student needs and varying classroom environments
• Assist educators in understanding Deaf and Hard of Hearing culture and communication considerations
• Maintain confidentiality in all student and school matters
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as necessary
