This position involves teaching American Sign Language (ASL) to middle school students, focusing on foundational ASL skills. The role is part-time, requiring approximately 3 hours of instruction per week, specifically scheduled on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and Fridays from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. Located near Jupiter, FL, this contract opportunity provides valuable experience in a middle school educational setting, supporting students in developing communication through sign language.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida Teacher License is required
• Experience teaching American Sign Language to middle school students preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage young learners
• Familiarity with middle school curriculum and classroom management techniques
• Ability to work part-time hours as specified

Responsibilities:

• Deliver basic ASL instruction to middle school students in small group settings
• Develop lesson plans aligned with language acquisition goals
