This full-time, onsite opportunity is for a Sign Language Interpreter supporting K-12 students in a school setting located in Sun Valley, NV. The role involves providing one-on-one interpretation services to ensure effective communication access for students requiring sign language support throughout the school year. This is a contract position with a flexible schedule aligning with the academic calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct sign language interpretation services to students on a 1:1 caseload basis
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Collaborate with educational teams to support students learning and communication needs
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in interpreting

Qualifications:

• Current certification or documentation of meeting one of the following: EIPA score certificate
  EIPA Written Knowledge Test certificate or coaching report
  Proof of passing a certification knowledge exam
  Proof of completion of an interpreter training degree program
• Previous professional experience in educational settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of American Sign Language and interpreting practices in K-12 schools
