This position is for a Sign Language Interpreter to provide support in a high school setting located in Papillion, NE. The role is a contract position for the school calendar year (CSY), offering an opportunity to assist students with hearing impairments in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between hearing-impaired students and staff using American Sign Language (ASL)
- Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities accurately and effectively
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student learning
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards related to interpreting in an educational setting
