What you bring:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter with an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
- Experience interpreting in an educational setting, especially for elementary-age students
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiar with interpreting protocols in classroom environments
- Ability to collaborate professionally with educators, staff, and families
- Reliability, adaptability, and discretion when supporting students one-on-one
What youll do:
- Provide interpretation services for an elementary student during summer instruction
- Facilitate clear communication between the student, teachers, and peers
- Contribute to an accessible, inclusive learning environment by accurately conveying classroom content
