An opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support high school students in Omaha, NE, during the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role involves facilitating effective communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring they have equal access to educational content and school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation services in classroom settings, meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, students, and support staff to ensure communication needs are met.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Adapt interpreting techniques to suit a variety of educational contexts and individual student needs.
- Participate in training and development opportunities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
