Location: Midlothian, Illinois area
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week
School Year: August 2026 - May 2027

Job Responsibilities
- Provide interpreting services for students in a high school setting
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
- Support students access to classroom instruction and school activities
- Maintain professional standards and confidentiality while interpreting
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student needs
- Assist in creating an inclusive learning environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Qualifications
- Active Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) certification required
- EIPA score accepted by the school
- Experience working in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff
- Commitment to supporting student communication access and success

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.00 to $40.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
