Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Opportunity

 School District is seeking 4 qualified Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment with a manageable caseload and quick hiring process.

Position Details

Position: Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
Openings: 4
Location: Lodi, CA
School Year: 2026-2027
Schedule: 32.5 hours per week

6.5 hours per day


School Assignment: 1-2 schools maximum
Caseload: Classroom support for students requiring interpreting services

Required Qualifications

EIPA score of 4.0 or higher required
Candidates must meet all applicable state and district requirements
ASL Paraprofessionals will not be considered for this role

Interview & Hiring Process

Interview Format: Panel interview
Interview Timeline: ASAP
Hiring Decision: Same-day offers possible following the interview

Onboarding Requirements

Fingerprint clearance required prior to start
District contract is already in place
Additional district onboarding requirements will apply

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
