Step into a vital role supporting student success as an onsite Sign Language Interpreter working one-on-one with a dedicated 5th-grade student in a Life Skills classroom. This contract position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek at a vibrant campus near Hanover, PA, where youll make a direct impact each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (ASL)
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
• Previous experience in educational or school settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to student support

What You'll Do:

• Provide effective, clear ASL interpretation between the student, teachers, and peers
• Facilitate communication in classroom lessons, group activities, and daily routines
• Collaborate with educators, IEP teams, and related service providers to support individualized learning goals
