Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active 3.0 EIPA credential/certification required
- Skilled in sign language interpretation within a school setting
- Strong understanding of educational terminology and classroom environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver sign language interpretation for students, educators, and other stakeholders throughout the school day
- Support students during academic instruction and extracurricular activities as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure effective communication and support
- Maintain documentation and records pertaining to interpretation services as required
- Adapt interpreting style to meet the individual needs of students
