This opportunity for the 2026/27 school year features a Monday through Friday schedule from 9am-2pm, allowing you a balanced work-life routine with plenty of time to discover the best of the region. Youll have the chance to elevate your skills by working 1:1 with a high school student, gaining insights into varied instructional strategies and contributing to a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid EIPA certification with a score of 3.5 or higher (required)
• Previous experience interpreting for high school-aged students preferred
• Proficiency in American Sign Language
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical interpreting practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a high school student during instruction and school activities
• Facilitate communication between the student, staff, and peers to support educational success
• Collaborate with educators to address the students individual needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential records as required
