Qualifications:

  • Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
  • Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings (SPED and Gen Ed, mild to severe)
  • Ability to adapt to itinerant rolesworking across multiple school sites
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and a passion for supporting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation for students across special education and general education settings
  • Collaborate with educators, case managers, and school teams to ensure students language access
  • Travel between multiple school locations as assigned (onsite only)
  • Support students with a spectrum of needs, ranging from mild to severe
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies
