An opportunity is available for a skilled Educational Sign Language Interpreter to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a high school student in Cullman, AL. This position requires professional expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) and educational interpreting within a school setting. The role is full-time for the school year and offers a W2 employment status.

Key Qualifications:

  • Alabama Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Certification
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience in educational interpreting, particularly in a high school environment
  • Preferred EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 3.5 or above
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support student learning through accurate and effective interpreting

Location: Cullman, AL (near Decatur, AL)

Responsibilities:
