  • Valid GA Sign Language Interpreter license
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
  • Proven proficiency in American Sign Language
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff
  • Interpreting classroom lessons, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities
  • Supporting a variety of subjects and grade levels (K-12) across the school day
  • Collaborating with educators to ensure accessibility of instruction and materials
  • Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • Providing input to support student learning outcomes when requested by the educational team
