Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist license
- CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential required
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and document findings to inform educational planning
- Provide direct interventions, including counseling and crisis response, to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Offer consultative support for classroom strategies and behavioral interventions
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and provide expertise in student support meetings
- Engage in preventative programming to foster a supportive school climate
- Work across 12 schools, promoting positive outcomes in a close-knit educational community
