Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist license
  • CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential required
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and document findings to inform educational planning
  • Provide direct interventions, including counseling and crisis response, to elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Offer consultative support for classroom strategies and behavioral interventions
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and provide expertise in student support meetings
  • Engage in preventative programming to foster a supportive school climate
  • Work across 12 schools, promoting positive outcomes in a close-knit educational community
