Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois
- Previous experience in school settings (elementary, middle, high preferred)
- Expertise in conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments
- Strong communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in special education law and best practices for evaluations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead re-evaluation review and eligibility meetings
- Complete functional behavioral and initial assessments
- Support teams in IEP and MTSS processes
- Facilitate meetings and ensure clarity in communication with families and partners
- Provide early childhood screening/evaluations for children entering preschool
