Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois
  • Previous experience in school settings (elementary, middle, high preferred)
  • Expertise in conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Strong communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in special education law and best practices for evaluations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead re-evaluation review and eligibility meetings
  • Complete functional behavioral and initial assessments
  • Support teams in IEP and MTSS processes
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure clarity in communication with families and partners
  • Provide early childhood screening/evaluations for children entering preschool
