Job Description
A school psychologist position is available for the 2024-2025 academic year in Wilmington, DE, supporting preschool, elementary, and high school students in a full-time, on-site capacity. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, providing a valuable opportunity to contribute to a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment data.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student success.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware licensure as a school psychologist is required.
- Demonstrated experience working in preschool, elementary, or high school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, educational laws, and counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite full time, dedicating 37.5 hours per week.
