Job Description

A full-time school psychologist position is available to support middle school students (Grades 6-12) in a positive and dynamic K-12 educational setting located in Wilmington, DE. This on-site contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in student development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for middle school students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to address academic, social, and emotional challenges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware school psychologist licensure.
  • Experience working within a school environment, especially with middle school populations, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of K-12 psychological assessment techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work full time (37.5 hours/week) in an on-site setting.
