Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a dedicated School Psychologist! This contract opportunity runs from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027, providing a consistent 37.5-hour work week. Youll split your time between two welcoming elementary environments, working alongside passionate educators and making a direct impact with mild student interventions.
Your expertise will be crucial as you conduct approximately 10-15 evaluations per school, ensuring students receive the services and support they need to thrive. Collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster positive learning environments and implement evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current School Psychologist license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, evaluation, and development of intervention plans
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Understanding of diverse student needs and a passion for helping children succeed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret results to support student success
- Provide targeted interventions for students identified with mild support needs
- Serve as a resource for teachers and administrators, sharing expertise in learning, behavior, and mental health
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent consultations, and data-driven team decision making
- Effectively manage a caseload spread across two elementary schools
