Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Warren, MI, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contract position during the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves supporting both high school and middle school students by providing comprehensive psychological services that promote academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in early identification and intervention strategies for students with suspected learning and emotional disabilities.
  • Provide consultation and planning to enhance classroom management, social structures, and the implementation of effective teaching techniques.
  • Develop tailored educational plans and behavior management programs to meet diverse student needs.
  • Assist in modifying instructional practices to support students from various backgrounds.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain compliance with district policies, including fingerprinting and contract requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Specialist degree or equivalent in School Psychology.
  • State certification or approval as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations, ideally across middle and high school settings.
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention planning.
  • Ability to engage collaboratively with educators and support staff remotely.

Schedule & Location:

  • Position covers two schools: one high school and one middle school.
  • Full-time contract: approximately 37.5 hours per week.
  • Remote interview and onboarding process.
