Job Description

Dynamic opportunity available for skilled professionals specializing in providing psychological services within educational settings. This contract position is located in Warren, MI, for the duration of the school year, allowing for impactful work with students in need of psychological support.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid school psychologist certification or licensure in the state
  • Experience working in K-12 educational environments
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering the well-being of students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and psychological needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
  • Provide training and support to school staff on mental health best practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
