Key Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia School Psychologist credential required
• Demonstrated experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting intellectual, social, and emotional development in school settings
• Strong consultation and collaboration skills with teachers and families
• Thorough knowledge of maintaining confidential records and preparing detailed reports
• Ability to provide services across two to three schools and work with diverse student populations

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students' intellectual, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
• Conduct and interpret a range of psychological assessments for caseloads of approximately 40-50 students
• Maintain current, accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention strategies for students with various needs
• Offer expertise and recommendations to school staff through ongoing consultation
