Job Description

Make a vital impact supporting students by stepping into a dynamic, full-time contract position as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This fulfilling role begins August 6th, 2026, and runs through May 21st, 2027. The district values flexibilitythe primary focus is on high school re-evaluations, but caseload and specific grade levels can be adjusted based on your expertise and interests. Youll be working near Topeka, KS, enjoying the option of either fully in-person or a hybrid schedule: three days onsite and two days working virtually per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas School Psychologist license required
  • Previous experience in school-based psychological services strongly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Comfortable adapting to a range of grade levels, with a preference for high school
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for maintaining partnerships with families, staff, and administrators
  • Capable of balancing schedule flexibility and caseload priorities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead high school student re-evaluation assessments, including analyzing data and generating detailed reports
  • Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and families for interventions and educational planning
  • Deliver direct and indirect psychological services according to students IEPs
  • Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with ethical and legal guidelines
  • Engage students both in-person and virtually as schedule allows
