Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated professional providing psychological services across two schools, located within the Cassopolis and Three Rivers area. In this contract position, youll support students academic, social, and emotional growth by engaging collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff for the 2026-2027 school year (beginning August 17th through end of the school year). Flexible scheduling options are available, with a preference for full-time candidates.

What youll bring:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist certificate
  • Masters or Ed.S. degree in School Psychology
  • Experience delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions, particularly at the elementary level
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, teachers, and parents
  • Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and positive school environment

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results to inform educational planning
  • Developing and recommending evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students well-being and learning
  • Providing crisis intervention and supporting social-emotional skill development among students
  • Serving as a resource for educators, offering insights on learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Traveling between two assigned elementary schools; caseload will be focused on younger students
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development
