Job Description
A certified School Psychologist is sought for a K-12 school setting in Texico, NM, on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This full-time opportunity requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, to support students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student emotional and behavioral health
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and promote positive school environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico School Psychologist Certification is required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to implement evidence-based practices and interventions
