Sunbelt is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Digital School Psychologist to join our team in Arizona. This position offers the unique opportunity to provide support and guidance to K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses through online platforms. As a Digital School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, all while working remotely.

Job Details:

  • Position: Digital School Psychologist
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Location: Remote (Arizona-based)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular school hours

Responsibilities: As a Digital School Psychologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine students' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Providing counseling and support to students who are experiencing social or emotional challenges.
  • Participating in virtual meetings and consultations with school teams to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
  • Conducting virtual behavioral observations and providing recommendations for interventions.
  • Assisting in the development of school-wide programs and strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a digital or remote setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and caseloads.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate technological tools for remote work.
