Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic and behavioral needs.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies.
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing valuable input to support the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.
- Providing virtual counseling and support to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of school-wide positive behavior support programs.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- State of Tennessee School Psychologist license or ability to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, evaluations, and writing comprehensive reports.
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Technologically proficient with virtual communication tools and platforms.
