Job Details:

  • Position: Virtual School Psychologist
  • Location: Idaho (Virtual/Remote)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals through virtual platforms to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide virtual counseling and guidance services to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Offer virtual support and resources to teachers and parents to enhance the overall well-being of students in a remote learning environment.
  • Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of school psychology, particularly in relation to virtual service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist license or certification in the state of Idaho.
  • Experience conducting virtual psychological assessments and interpreting test results.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing virtual behavioral interventions.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and IEP development for virtual learning.
  • Excellent virtual communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
