Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in the state of Georgia
- Graduate degree (Ed.S., MA, or Ph.D.) in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working in school settings, conducting psychometric assessments, and developing intervention plans
- Strong communication, consultation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs
- Interpret assessment data and collaborate with IEP/504 teams to develop individualized educational plans
- Offer individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and families on academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in crisis prevention and intervention services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards in student services
- Support positive school climate initiatives and provide professional development as appropriate
