Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Springfield, OR, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full academic year contract. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional specializing in supporting the mental health and educational development of students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being.
  • Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated support for students.
  • Offer professional development and training for staff on psychological and behavioral best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws/regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
