Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support a high school setting in Springfield, MA, for the current school year. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to support student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a high school educational setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize tasks
