Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Current and valid Nevada school psychologist license
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
  • Committed to fostering positive student outcomes and collaborating with educators and families
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs and inform educational planning
  • Provide direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and skill-building strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs and behavior plans
  • Consult with instructional staff to provide recommendations for classroom support and accommodations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise to guide student support services
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress, adapting interventions as necessary
