Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Shrewsbury, MA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing early childhood psychological services, managing a dedicated caseload, and supporting students mental health and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for early childhood students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention support to students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist credentials are required.
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
