Job Description

A school psychologist position is available in Seymour, IN, providing a unique opportunity to support students through comprehensive special education evaluations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Support students across three school buildings with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop appropriate interventions and support strategies.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and report to the district supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with special education laws and district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana license to practice as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments and determining eligibility for special education services is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of special education law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Location and Work Environment:

  • Position based onsite in Seymour, IN.
  • Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • The contract is effective immediately through May 21, 2026.
