Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students success and well-being across several schools in the Sebastopol area. This part-time, onsite contract role is ideal for experienced school psychologists dedicated to making a difference in students lives throughout the full 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 12th and continuing through June.
In this position, youll provide 16 hours of support per week, primarily assisting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. Your expertise will also be vital in handling overflow assessments and Emotional, Mental, and Behavioral Health Services (ERMHS) when required. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families to foster a positive educational environment and to deliver comprehensive psychological services.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid California Psychologist License
- PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential required
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan processes
- Skill in conducting educational assessments and providing ERMHS
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational and behavior assessments as needed
- Support students academic and social-emotional well-being through targeted interventions
- Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and staff to develop effective learning plans
- Maintain confidential and accurate records in accordance with state and school protocols
- Participate in eligibility and staffing meetings as required
