Your background in school psychology will be instrumental in assessing student needs, contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and offering expert consultation to teachers and families. Serving the full K-12 spectrum, youll engage with a diverse caseload and work closely with educators and administrators to develop effective interventions and promote positive student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Psychologist credential
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in an educational setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Deliver classroom and staff consultations, supporting staff in understanding student needs and best practices
