Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or state licensure
- Experience with K-8 caseloads preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and behavioral management strategies
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support plans
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive school community
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students in K-8
- Design and recommend interventions for students academic, social, or emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address student challenges
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide expertise on evaluation results
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school guidelines and legal requirements
