Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current or eligibility to obtain NM RLD License (School Psychologist)
- Experience supporting students at both elementary and secondary levels preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and fostering inclusive educational settings
- Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide student supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design interventions and behavior plans
- Consult with educators regarding best practices for supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and district policies
