Key Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada school psychologist license (NV School Psych)
• Experience with middle and elementary-aged students is preferred

• Ability to handle a varied caseload and develop effective intervention plans
• Comfortable with a busy, engaging K-8 environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and eligibility determinations
• Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and related behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students academic, social, and emotional needs
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance standards within the district
• Serve as a resource for school staff on matters of mental health, learning, and behavior

Additional Details:

• Position spans the duration of the academic year, beginning immediately and ending on 7/31/26
• Full-time hours (35-37.5 hours per week)
• Assigned to both a middle school and an elementary school
