Job Description

A full-time or part-time position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students across two schools in Prince Frederick, MD. This contractual role spans the school year and serves students primarily in elementary grades, with responsibilities extending throughout the K-12 spectrum. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Maryland School Psychologist license and possess experience working within public school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students with diverse educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health and well-being.
  • Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans and school-wide support programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Maryland Licensed School Psychologist credential.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary education settings.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for a range of learning and behavioral disabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.
  • Flexibility to serve full-time or part-time schedules.
