Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support K-12 students in a public school setting in Pittsfield, MA. This contract, school year role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on diverse student populations by addressing their academic, emotional, and developmental needs through assessments, interventions, and collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications:

  • Valid MA School Psychologist license or certification
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong knowledge of educational psychology principles and assessment tools
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Skilled in counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation with school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs related to learning and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and monitor effective support strategies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations
  • Provide counseling and crisis support to students when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal educational guidelines
