Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in assessment and intervention
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Proficiency in data-based decision-making and problem-solving

Location:

  • Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and wellbeing
  • Crisis intervention and support for students and staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
  • Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
