Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to support the well-being and academic success of K-12 students in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families in a dynamic school environment for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and inform instructional planning
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavioral support strategies
  • Use data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license appropriate to the state of Pennsylvania
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and counseling techniques
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
