Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for the state
  • Demonstrated experience working with PreK12 students
  • Skilled in performing assessments, counseling, and providing behavioral interventions
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students across grade levels
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
  • Provide counseling and crisis support as needed for students
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to guide student progress and strategies
  • Track and document all assessments, interventions, and student progress reports in a timely manner
  • Help build positive learning environments to foster student wellbeing and achievement
