Job Description

Step into a key support position making a positive impact in students lives as a School Psychologist in the Oak Lawn area. This contract role offers a steady, full-time schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 3pm. Youll work collaboratively with school teams, contributing directly to student success and well-being.

Responsibilities include conducting individual evaluations and re-evaluations, actively participating in IEP meetings, and providing expertise in educational and psychological assessment. Your insight will help shape effective interventions and learning plans for students.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Experience working in educational settings, especially K-12 schools
  • Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological assessments
  • Comfort with IEP processes, evaluations, and re-evaluations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a qualified team member
  • Recommend, design, and help implement instructional or behavioral interventions
  • Consult with educators, families, and other specialists to support student outcomes
  • Maintain timely and accurate records and documentation in line with school and state requirements
