Job Description

A full-time school psychologist position is available to provide specialized support to K-12 students within a local correctional facility in Olympia, WA. This role requires a dedicated professional to conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations, while collaborating closely with the IEP support team to address the unique needs of incarcerated youth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Collaborating with the IEP support team to develop individualized education plans

  • Complying with all applicable regulations and security protocols within the correctional facility

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Washington State School Psychologist license
  • Ability to successfully pass a stringent background check required for onsite work at a correctional facility
  • Strong skills in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including youth in correctional settings, is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Location and schedule:

  • Onsite position located in Olympia, WA
  • Full-time contract role, 37.5 hours per week
